Complete 60 Hz generation package

This opportunity concerns one Titan 250 turbine with the proposed full power-generation package, not a turbine-only sale. The supplied proposal describes new and unused equipment from 2021, preserved in OEM transport packaging. Serial identity, physical condition and current allocation must be established during due diligence.

Turbine configuration described in the proposal

  • Two-shaft industrial gas turbine with separate gas-generator and power-turbine sections.
  • 16-stage axial-flow compressor; approximately 24:1 compressor pressure ratio.
  • Annular combustion system with 14 lean-premixed Dry Low Emissions injectors.
  • Two-stage gas-generator turbine and three-stage power turbine.
  • Natural-gas configuration; gas/distillate capability requires confirmation of installed equipment.

Generator, controls and integration

  • New industrial synchronous generator within the proposed package scope.
  • Generator voltage range described as 1,100–13,800 VAC; the final rated voltage is not yet identified.
  • 60 Hz adaptation, epicyclic reduction drive and 1,800 RPM generator speed as proposed.
  • Excitation, generator protection and automatic synchronization integration.
  • Turbotronic 4 turbine controls with generator integration, vibration and temperature monitoring, package monitoring and operating protection.
  • Commissioning-readiness support; final boundaries to be established in the equipment inventory and purchase agreement.

Output must be established for the receiving site

The proposal uses 28 MW as a commercial pricing class. It separately reports approximately 21.745 MW nominal ISO electrical output and possible output around 26 MW with reduced inlet-air temperature. None of those statements establishes guaranteed net site output. Request the definitive configuration, fuel specification, ambient conditions, inlet system and contractual performance criteria.

Warranty, standards and due diligence

The original factory warranty is stated to have expired. A new package warranty may be available, but its provider, duration, start date, coverage and exclusions require written confirmation. The proposal references API 616, API 670, ASME PTC 22, NFPA 37, NFPA 70/NEC, IEEE/UL, ISO 2314 and ISO 3977; these references are not a certification of project compliance.

  • Obtain serial numbers, OEM nameplates and 2021 manufacturing records.
  • Verify zero hours, never-commissioned status, preservation records and storage history.
  • Inspect compressor, combustion system, power turbine, generator, controls and electrical systems.
  • Verify the actual fuel, SoLoNOx and 60 Hz configuration, including the integration work still required.
  • Confirm final equipment inventory, ownership/title, release conditions and shipment dimensions.

Commercial process and delivery

Buyer qualification is described as an executed letter of intent and acceptable proof of funds. Inspection is subject to owner authorization and confirmed equipment location. Pricing and delivery require a current written quotation; the August 2026 proposal’s validity period has expired.

Freight, transport and warranty terms must be agreed. Installation, commissioning, site civil works, grid interconnection, taxes, duties and permitting are excluded unless expressly included in the definitive agreement. Any sale remains subject to inspection, technical acceptance, title verification and signed transaction documents.

Request unit-specific equipment photographs, OEM nameplates and the original technical package.
