The transport configuration determines much of what follows. We coordinate preparation, accessory handling, and oil services so the main unit and its supporting equipment are ready for the agreed transport and installation sequence.

Coordinate radiator, bushing, conservator, and accessory removal where required by the transport plan and OEM guidance.
Oil handling
Plan removal or reduction, filtration, storage, transport, and refill with qualified oil-service providers.
Readiness & identification
Coordinate condition records, accessory identification, packaging, pressurization requirements, and handoff documentation.

Arrival at the gate is not the end of the project. We coordinate the receiving plan, offloading, final placement, reassembly, and the handoff to qualified testing and commissioning providers.

Rigging & placement
Crane or specialist handling coordination, offloading, foundation placement, and accessory reassembly under approved plans.

A transformer shipment brings together the factory, ocean carrier, port, inland carrier and receiving team. The lifting arrangement, transport configuration and delivery sequence need to be understood before the next party takes responsibility.
Before vessel arrival
Review shipping dimensions and mass, lifting drawings, accessory packing lists, documentation and the planned discharge arrangement with the responsible providers.
At the port
Coordinate cargo receipt, condition records, handling windows, storage requirements and the inland carrier’s readiness for the agreed transfer.
At the destination
Confirm access, unloading resources, foundation readiness and the arrival sequence for the transformer, oil and accessories. Agree who accepts delivery and records the handoff.

Yes. Send the equipment location, destination, nameplate or drawings, available shipping data, and target schedule. We can discuss a preparation, transportation, handling, or installation-coordination scope for existing equipment.
Can you manage the equipment purchase and delivery together?
Yes. We can coordinate sourcing and the delivery scope together. The quotation and agreement define what is included, which parties perform specialist work, and the responsibilities at each handoff.
Who performs field installation and commissioning?
Qualified field-service, rigging, testing, and commissioning providers perform the applicable specialist work. Transformer Traders coordinates the agreed scope and interfaces with the owner, EPC, utility, and service teams.
What do you need to begin a transport review?
Origin and destination, shipping dimensions and weight, available drawings, required delivery window, accessory and oil scope, and any known access or handling restrictions. We will identify gaps to resolve with the project team.
How are schedule and pricing confirmed?
After reviewing the equipment, required services, access, documentation, and delivery assumptions, the agreed scope, commercial terms, and schedule are documented for the project.
